Enric Moya

A violinist, he began his violin studies at the age of seven at the Benet Bails Municipal Music School with Judith Ortega, before moving on to the Conservatorio Municipal de Música de Barcelona, where he was taught by Alberto Reguera until 2022.

He is currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (KCB) with violinist Yossif Ivanov, thanks to a grant from the Agustí Pedro i Pons Foundation (University of Barcelona). He has taken masterclasses with Sergey Teslya, Igor Sulyga, Stephan Picard, Agustín León Ara and Ala Voronkova, among others.

Enric has won third prize at the Nouvelles Etoiles competition, the Villa de Llanes international violin competition, the Cambrai international violin competition and the Marie Cantagrill international violin competition. He recently won first prize at the twentieth Les Corts International Music Competition (Barcelona) and the Breughel Music Competition.

He has also been selected to perform Mendelssohn’s violin concerto in E minor, op. 64, as a soloist with the symphony orchestra of the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and the Jove Orquestra Intercomarcal (JOIC), in concert halls such as the Grande Salle of the Royal Conservatoire in Brussels and the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam.

Enric Moya plays an Enrico Rocca violin (1910) on loan from Strings For Talent, a fund under the patronage of the King Baudouin Foundation, thanks to Anne Marie Frère and her children’s generosity.
