At a certain stage, an average instrument is just not good enough for the development of a young musician’s career.
Financing an outstanding instrument is difficult if not quasi impossible for most young people and financial institutions tend to refrain from those kinds of investment.
Strings for Talent wants to address this question, as similar funds do in France and The Netherlands.
The scope of the fund will be limited to string instruments.
Good pianos are provided by concert halls and by the standards of other musical instruments, string ones are expensive.
The loan might also enhance the beneficiaries’ credibility and offer new contacts with established professionals.
Strings for talent is proud to work under the umbrella of the King Baudouin Foundation whose management expertise helps.
Financial contributions are eligible for tax deductibility.
